UNITED SOCCER LEAGUES ANNOUNCES 2010 W LEAGUE ALIGNMENT
W League Piranhas to Remain in the Eastern Conference¸ Atlantic Division
 
TAMPA, FL – United Soccer Leagues (USL) announced the W League’s official alignment for the 2010 season, including the conference and divisional breakdowns for the 29-team league.
 
The alignment will remain the same as the 2009 season with three conferences. The Eastern and Central Conferences will include two divisions. The Western Conference will stand alone.
 
The W League Piranhas will again compete in the Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference with Atlanta, Charlotte, Northern Virginia and Tampa Bay.
 
Four new clubs have joined the W League in 2010 including expansion teams from New Jersey, Colorado, Santa Clarita and New Jersey. 
 
The 2010 schedules and playoff information will be announced soon.

Eastern Conference
Atlantic Division: Hampton Roads Piranhas, Atlanta Silverbacks, Charlotte Lady Eagles, Northern Virginia Majestics, Tampa Bay Hellenic
Northeast Division: Hudson Valley Quickstrike Lady Blues, Long Island Rough Riders, New Jersey Wildcats, New York Magic, NJ Rangers, North Jersey Valkryies, Washington Freedom Futures
 
Central Conference
Great Lakes Division: Hamilton Avalanche, Laval Comets, Quebec City Amiral, Ottawa Fury, Rochester Ravens, Toronto Lady Lynx
Midwest Division: Buffalo Flash, Chicago Red Eleven, Cleveland Internationals, Kalamazoo Outrage, London Gryphons
