BROTHERS TJ AND JORDAN CYRUS SIGN WITH PDL PIRANHAS
Norfolk Academy grads are both former All-Tidewater Soccer Players of the Year

The Cyrus brothers both played their high school soccer at Norfolk Academy and each one was selected as the Boys All-Tidewater Soccer Player of the Year – TJ twice, in 2006 and 2007 and Jordan in 2008. 

Jordan is the all-time leading scorer at Norfolk Academy with 122 goals and 37 assists for 281 points; TJ is ranked fifth in Academy history with 90 goals and 56 assists and 236 points. Both now play college soccer but TJ plays for the University of Virginia and Jordan plays for the University of Maryland. They both though play in the ACC. 
Highlights of TJ’s career at Norfolk Academy include being named the to the adidas/NSCAA All-American team as both a junior and a senior; being named the NSCAA Virginia State Player of the Year; being named three times to the All-State, All-Conference and All-Prep League teams; was rated the No. 18 recruit in the nation by RISE.com; and was named as a U18 National Team selection in 2004 and 2007.
Jordan’s Norfolk Academy awards include being named ESPN Rise Magazine First Team All-American; being twice named NSCAA All-American; named VISSA Co-State Player of the Year in 2007 and 2008; named First Team All-State as a junior and senior; named Tidewater Conference of Independent Schools (TCIS) Player of the Year as a junior and senior and was named First Team All-TCIS for three years.
Also shoring up the offense for the PDL Piranhas’ is forward Ian Holder who was also named All-Tidewater Soccer Player of the Year in 2003 and is ranked second all time leading scorer at Norfolk Academy with 102 goals, 63 assists and 267 points.
