The road weary Piranhas were coming off a Friday night 0-0 draw with the Charlotte Lady Eagles in North Carolina. The Piranhas though came out with energy and played a tough game but were outshot by the Silverbacks 7-4.
The W-League Piranhas will play their home opener next Saturday night, May 22 at 8 p.m. against Charlotte in the second half of a doubleheader with the PDL side. The men will take on New Jersey at 5:30 p.m. All Piranhas home games are at the Virginia Beach Sportsplex.
