HAMPTON ROADS PIRANHAS READY TO OPEN
2009 SEASON FRIDAY NIGHT
W-League Side Opens Friday - PDL Squad Opens Saturday
Virginia Beach, Virginia – Both 2009 Hampton Roads Piranhas teams will open their 2009 campaigns this weekend. The W-League Piranhas travel to Charlotte on Friday to take on the Lady Eagles at 5:30 p.m. and the PDL Piranhas will host the Virginia Legacy at 7 p.m. on Saturday at Virginia Wesleyan College.
The W-League Piranhas lost a last-minute 1-0 decision to Charlotte in the only match they played last season and the PDL Piranhas and the Legacy went 1-0-2 in 2008 in their three matches.
General admission tickets for all regular season home games are $6.00. Season ticket Flexi-Packs are available including $65 for tickets to all PDL and W-League regular season games, $40 for eight tickets to any PDL or W-League match or $35 for seven tickets to any PDL or W-League match. Youth passes are available for just $15 for fans 15 and under. Season tickets do not include exhibition, U.S. Open Cup, playoff or championship matches.
